Use this guide to optimise your health in 7 days



Embarking on a detox journey can be a wonderful way to support your body's natural

detoxification systems, maintain a healthy hormone balance, and build a robust microbiome.


This 7-day detox diet plan provides guidelines to follow, ensuring that you nourish your body effectively while promoting the elimination of toxins.


Diet Guidelines


Allowed Foods

Buy organic where practically possible.


Cooking Oils: Use olive oil or coconut oil.
Hydration: Drink filtered water whenever possible.
Vegetables: Add as many vegetables as possible to every meal, including a mix of cooked

and raw.

Fruit: Limit to a maximum of two pieces per day.
Quinoa: If you miss grains, include quinoa. Soak in water with something acidic (e.g.,

vinegar, yogurt, lemon juice) for at least two hours beforehand and rinse before cooking.

Starches: White or sweet potatoes.
Pasta: Legume pasta.
Fats: Butter, ideally grass-fed.
Stewed Apples: About 2 tablespoons daily, if possible.
Proteins: Include a little red meat (once or twice, grass-fed if possible), chicken, fish (max twice a week), eggs, good-quality plant protein powder (e.g., fermented sprouted rice and pea), legumes (including tofu).
Flavourings: Add plenty of herbs and spices, both fresh and dried.
Nuts and Seeds: Include a variety in your diet.
Beverages: Coffee and tea are allowed, (preferably black) as well as herbal teas and kombucha.




Foods to Avoid

Grains: Avoid wheat, rice, oats, etc.

Mince: Avoid.

Alcohol: Avoid.

Processed Foods: Avoid.

Sugar: Limit to a little maple syrup or honey.

Artificial Sweeteners: Avoid.

Dairy: Keep to a minimum, except for kefir and natural probiotic yogurt.


Lifestyle Recommendations


Epsom Bath Salts

Use 2 cups in the bath for 5 consecutive evenings during the 7-day detox diet.

Personal products

Use natural personal products (shampoo, soaps, deodorant) where practically possible.

Exercise

Engage in gentle exercise 3-4 times during the week.
